Rep Power: 28 | Protan, I have the blacksun reflex lamps in one of my beds and my clients love them. I am getting ready to put blacksuns in 4 more of my entry level beds. I have been very pleased with these lamps. Also, you could check with another board memeber Tantalize for her view on these lamps as I know she has them also. |

Rep Power: 0 | Have you tried any Lightsource lamps??? I went through a search this fall for 100w, 140w reflector, and 160w reflector replacements and have had great success with these lamps. I would give John @ Ultraviolet Resources a call. He is very helpful. 1-800-247-3251. Good Luck |

Rep Power: 23 | If you are looking for lamps try the new philips. Swift-R 100 watt for the VLR Swift-R 160 watt for the VHR Swift 100 watt for the goldarium. All have compatability,if yo want t go stronger use the advantage lamps by philips. They are probably the best overall tanning lamps around. |

Rep Power: 0 | I have Puretan beds and the all came with "F73 Puretan S+" bulbs. They are in my 20 min. Puretan "Circee" beds (33 bulb 100 watts/ea) I (for some reason) believe that they are made by Cosmedico. But I could be very wrong. I would prefer something a tad stronger. I don't know much about different options when it comes to bulbs, and their strengths. From salon owner experience who has what and how do you like it? _________________ Tropical_Tan [ This Message was edited by: Tropical_Tan on 2002-01-19 16:33 ][ This Message was edited by: Tropical_Tan on 2002-01-19 16:35 ] |

Rep Power: 23 | Some of the new lamps do not generate as much heat as the older ones. The light emission lamps run cooler (temperature) but tan really well. Some people say that they dont seem to sweat as much then try to stay longer in the bed because it is more comfortable. |
