I need to purchase new bulbs for my home Sun Quest Pro 16S tanning bed. It has Wolff brand 71 BI-Pin 100w in it now. There are so many different models of lamps to choose from in the Wolff line what would be the best all around bulbs for me? Also where is a good place online to order? Many thanks!

Orlando - I'm not familiar with the type of equipment that you are using. Do you know what other bulbs are compatible with your bed?

I would suggest getting a Sundance Express, Viking Sun Midnight, or Super Sun Panthers. Only go 10 mins the first time though because they are strong as heck![ This Message was edited by: darktanman on 2001-12-12 21:44 ]

i don't think he'll be seeing 10 min session lengths regardless of which lamp he'll be using. its a 16 lamp SQ home unit running off of 110, naturally its not going to deliver the same result as a salon unit.

if you are not happy with the diamond sun lamp (which is an ETS lamp manufactured for them by Wolff), i'd recommend staying with something in a 5.0 uvb or 6.9. my highest recommendation is the radiance line, which have a longer lifetime than the original diamond sun, and deliver better, faster results. the average home tanning unit, depending on how often you tan and how many people are tanning in it, needs to be relamped about every 3 years. with the radiance line, you can easily get 4 years out of them. (once again, dependent on how often and how many).

if you are looking for a lamp that delivers similar results, only less expensive...i recommend the millennium. they are available in 5.0 and 6.5, and are one of the most cost effective replacements lamps on the market.

if you need more info, feel free to email me at teri@fstanning.com

thanks
