If you are purchasing a used one make sure it is the second generation unit. The output has been improved greatly over the original. The machine is unique so it will sell easily to clients. Lamps and acrylics are costly so price the unit accordingly.

Brian,Can you take a first generation unit and make it comply with the second. I was told the bulbs and reflectors ( I think ) were upgraded to the SunBoard Plus.

I don't think so. The first one used a conical reflector and I think the second is a square cassette. The cost of retrofit might not be worth it.[ August 08, 2001: Message edited by: Brian Oshman ]
