Rep Power: 26 | Linda:I was "fired" as a moderator (without any notice, I must say.) You'll have to ask Michael Chunn why he took this step. However, unless I am not allowed to post on this website, I will still try to answer any sunlamp questions TanTalkers may have.Don |

Rep Power: 0 | Mike and I periodically email the moderators to check their status. If there is no reply, then they are removed as moderator until they ask to be reassigned. If you'd like to continue being a Moderator just email Mike Chunn. |

Rep Power: 0 | Cheap excuse. It takes balls to wipe the lampman from the lamp forum. You know of knowone more capable of the job. Shunning pure intelegence shows pure ignorance. Shouldn't have to ask. The valuable info is allways there when needed. |

Rep Power: 0 | There was never any ill will towards Don. It was assumed that since Don has never replied to emails from Solid, Michael or myself, he no longer wished to have the responsibility of being a moderator here on TanTalk. We were in fact, hoping that Don was too busy with work and projects to respond to us, and just didn’t have time to moderate the lamps forum here on TanTalk. After several attempts to contact Don via email over the past few months, we assumed that Don did not have the time for his business, his research, and to moderate the lamps forum, we decided that we needed to search for someone who did have the resources to do the job.Don is one of the finest people in this industry, and in my opinion, has the highest ideals of anyone in tanning. The decision to remove Don as the moderator of the lamp forum was discussed over several weeks, and emails sent each time. It finally came down to TanTalk needing someone we could contact and had the capability of moderating the forum. Don is the most knowledgeable and trustworthy person to do this, we just could not seem to contact him via email (I just looked in my sent items, and there are 5 unanswered emails to Don on different subjects).Let me make this clear, the job is Don’s for the asking (Don, are you listening, answer your email! :-)). Nothing would make us happier than for Don to inform us that he has the time and inclination to moderate the lamps forum. But that is Don’s decision, not ours. If indeed he is too busy, then we all wish him the very best, and if there is anything we can do to help, we will surely try to do so.Do not think that there is any animosity towards Don. We believe that Don is a very good friend, and sincerely hope that Don feels that way too. |
