Rep Power: 23 | Just wanted to post here briefly about something I learned today about frequency of lamp changing. I was impressed to learn that lamps lose the most amount of output within the first 100 hours of operation. By the time a lamp loses 30% of it's output... it should be changed. Most operators will re-lamp an entire bed all at once. Others chose to drop down their lamps from their canopy to their couch after about 150 hours of use. To track their usage the beds can be tracked through the hourly timer, software programs or through good old book keeping. For someone such as myself, this was information I was glad to receive... If you've never been to a trade show for training... please take the time and go. |
