Rep Power: 0 | I finally got the last bed up and running in this salon I bought. I noticed, while cleaning the bed, that there were two Aurora Dual Sun's and two Aurora Equator Sun's in the canopy with the rest of the bulbs being the standard Diamond Sun's. I realize that the Equator Suns are 8.5'S while the rest are, I believe, 5.0's. Will the 2 strong bulbs be strong enough to effect my beds Te to the point that it would require me to have a shorter MTI(thus putting me out of compliance) or is the mere fact that the bulbs are 8.5's enough to do so? What are the practical effects of doing this? I'm not using the bed until I find out one way or another. Boy, this business sure requires a bunch of grey matter! I've got 14 brain cells, but I need 2 of them to breath and keep my heart beating, so I'm at overload levels!Thanx for all the help. |

Rep Power: 26 | Sunspot:My guess (although the reg's are silent on this point) is that the exposure schedule must be calculated on the strongest sunlamp being used. Therefore, I would recommend getting rid of the two "odd" lamps and going with the Diamond Sun's.Don |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: Mixed bulbs in a lie-down bed it's probably not going to make a difference. No blown anything. Run a meter over them and see for yourself or just put the oddballs on the ends...or just replamp with all the same lamps.
