Rep Power: 0 | i've been shopping for beds, but im not sure what i should look for when choosing one. Are there certain types of beds i should stay away from? does anyone know if the sunstar 32 bulb bed is good? I'd like to know what are great 32 bulb beds. Also, are leasing beds a good or bad idea? |

Rep Power: 24 | HI Tanning PrincessI must stress to you, EXPLORE YOUR OPTIONS!!! Do not settle on beds with the first company that sends you a catalog. It could be a very costly mistake. Just research everything! There are some great bed companies out there, including, but not limited to: Tan America, puretan, Tanses (my personal fave), Perfect Tan, etc. Leasing is sometimes a really good idea because it frees up cash for other things. Shop around for the best leasing deal as well. I guess the moral of the story is "Do your homework!" I hope this helps. |

Rep Power: 24 | Anyone buying a tanning bed from a distrubuter must make sure that the distributer is not an actual competitor of theirs. There are some companies who sell tanning beds to you the salon owner and in fact they have a signed deal to open franchises across the country using the same units you just bought. I won't name names here but please if you value your business research the company you are buying from. |

Rep Power: 0 | Check out the New Sunliner Units from Tansystems. They are all metal construction, very clean elegant lines, all the units even the 28 lamp units come with plug and play built in speakers, great lamp proximity to the body thanks to a great canopy design. Top quality ballasts powering each lamp individually, and easy to remove pull out ballast trays. If you want a quality unit with a company that stands behind their product and offers exceptional service call tansystems at 1-800-999-8266 and ask for Doug Tiffaney (Owner). He will be glad to speak with you and takes the time to get to know you the salon owner. Also, you can visit them at www.tansystems.com. I own 3 salons in the most prestigous area of Atlanta, Ga. and I have alot of discerning clients who only want the best quality. I used to carry an assortment of units from varying companies i.e. sonnenbraune, ISM, soltron or otherwise now known as ergoline, suncapsule, and Dr. Muller. I personally have tanned in the ergoline 600, sonnenbraune bodyscan 4500, Dr. Muller Omega 2.0 and others to be sure that what I would being spending my hard earned money on products designed to perform. I am not interested in eye candy even though it is nice at first, you better hope that a client doesn't go tan in a 24K unit and then come over and tan in someone's sunliner 41/3 professional turbo for alittle less, cause people pay money to get a tan not to say they tan in a fancy looking bed. Most clients are results driven and that is what the Sunliner beds are designed to do, giving the salon owner the most quality for the money and durability for years of dependable commercial use.Any questions just go to our splash page at www.solareclipsetanning.com and send me an email and I would be glad to talk more on this topic to help you make the best informed decision. |

Rep Power: 0 | We looked at the Sunliner systems as well, but are glad we went with Sun Ergoline instead. One of our major competitors has Sunliner beds, and before we opened they had the best beds in town. The have 41/3's as standard beds and the Cyclone as an upgrade. We opened with 232 GF's as our standard, and the 600 as our upgrade, and we have taken a lot of her busines. Three of her close friends are on EFT with us because they all agree that our beds provide them with a better tan. A couple of her maintenance guys who tan with her for free come in and pay to lay in our 600. I am sure that Sunliner's are great beds, but I think that it is very possible to have both good looks and good beds. |

Rep Power: 24 | I personally like the look of the Tanses beds, the brushed stainless steel. They may not be as fancy looking as some I have seen, and you may well get top dollar but if they don't tan well, they aren't going to continue paying top dollar. If you have a huge canopy that is a mile away from you, it can be as pretty as a picture, but may not do squat to tan you. Just my observations. |
