Transmission Characteristics (displayed in percentages of UV blockage): UVC BLOCKAGE: 100% UVB TRANSMISSION: 2-3% (transmission from 309 (cont. gradient to 320nm) UVA TRANSMISSION: 87.5% (transmission from 320, maximized at between 370 and 378 nm) INFRARED TRANSMISSION: 15% with 500 Watt Quartz / Mercury Vapor source at 232 Volts / 60 Hz

Like I said with out filter glass and the right filter glass facial tanning bulbs are dangerous. Don't mess around with the filter glass.
