I have seen these starters and I have a client with alot of units that is just now going to try them out. They are new so there won't be any long term ratings available but, I am just as interested as you.My interest is the use of these in large 160 and 200 watt machines where starter life is reduced conciderably. I will havw to let you know how things work out as time progresses.Sorry, I could't be more help at this time still investigating!

I too, will be interested in seeing how the electronic starters perform. My full time job is in an industry which uses electronic starters in highly critical applications, with tremendous success. The development of this product for tanning beds should not be that difficult considering their use in other applications.

We have been testing the electronic starters for a while. The do not add any output to the lamp or increase the overall life. The do keep the ends from turning as black, but do not seem to work as well on the VHO lamps. We sell them to anyone who wants them but do not think they are worth the price.
