Cool New Male Starting Mobile Airbrush Business

Hello Everyone...

I am new to this forum and slowly starting a mobile airbrush tanning business. When I say slow I mean I am going to ease into everything until I feel comfortable and confident enough to really start putting myself out there.

From my research, I believe I have ordered nice equipment for a newbie. I also ordered Aviva Labs solution and I will let my fiancee test it on me (yikes!) when it comes. I am definitely going to order some practice solution.

Anyways. WHAT ARE YOU SUGGESTIONS FOR ME?

I live in a small city in California that was recently ranked the 9th fastest growing city in the USA. However, they have a few standard salons but only one salon with a Mystic Booth and a few airbrush technicians mainly at high end day spa/laser clinic types of places.

FOR ALL YOU EXPERTS OUT THERE, WHAT IS YOUR INPUT?

Re: New Male Starting Mobile Airbrush Business

Finally someone using Aviva Labs!! I think the results are great! I never see anyone talking about it, or anyone whos used it. Guess its a smaller company? I like it because i use HVLP and they make a solution for that system. (and airbrush)....I have only been in my mobile business for about 8 months. I live in louisiana so you know its not hollywood here lol you have got to advertise and put yourself out there as much as possible (when your ready) and i mean everywhere! I walked around LSU for almost 4 hours one day talking to people and now i think i spray almost the entire campus! Even having atleast 20 tanning salons here with mystic and maybe 2 that airbrush, i still do very well, just tell everyone!! practice practice! Try other solutions. get business cards, brochures...i also enjoy using PureSunless, smells really nice and beautiful color.

Re: New Male Starting Mobile Airbrush Business

I'll check into Aviva also. I have tried All about me (liked it) Breeze (didn't care too much for it) getting Biddiscombe and Norvell tomorrow. I'll post results next week.

We have tried quite a few solutions,
Norvell: Great color but dosn't last long
Breeze: Decent color but to runny
Cal Tan: Attack of the umpa lumpas but it lasts forever
Sunless Expressions: Kind of a yellow look
Sun Laboratories: This is what we use now, good color, not as good as norvell, but good. Lasts great and wears off great, no lizard look.

Re: New Male Starting Mobile Airbrush Business

It seems like everyone has tried all the same solutions. Do you guys research alot? I must have too much time on my hands because i'm constantly looking for solutions. I found a great one called Natural Bronze. 32oz-$35 Really natural color! Aviva Labs pretty color that lasts. My 2 fav's are the 11.5% from PureSunless (smells so good and lasts) and also a brand called Focus 12%:Hyaluronic Acid: Don’t let the word acid turn you off to “nature’s moisturizer”. Hyaluronic acid (HA) can absorb 1000 times its weight in water and is naturally present in the body in skin, joints and eyes. The level of HA in the body begins to decrease around 20. HA has been used in lip plumper products and to reduce wrinkles as a skin cream and in injectable form by cosmetic surgeons. It penetrates the skin easily and works from the “inside out”. DHA, the sunless tanning ingredient, has a drying effect on the skin. HA can counteract the drying effects of DHA and serve as a potent skin hydrator.
Matrixyl 3000: Studies have shown that Matrixyl 3000 lifts and firms skin by increasing collagen and elastin production. Collagen production increased almost 350% after two months of usage.
Argireline: A topical “Botox alternative” used in skin care products to relax the skin and inhibit the formation of wrinkles.

This stuff lasts!! and nice chocolate color

If you go to the search option at the top of the page on tantalk you can see that aviva has been talked about a lot over the years. :) I'll post a link for you to do some more research.

That's why we like All About Me. Has the Hyaluronic acid along with CoQ10. Skin feels softer after being sprayed.
