can someone tell me how i can get away from selling minutes

i sell unlimited packages (which i push and mostly sell) and minutes. the reason i sell minutes is because that's what people around here know. all the salon's sell minutes. but, i see that it is not profitable for me. i don't want to do EFT, at least not yet. i've been open 2 months. but, i know some use stars or whatnot, how does this work better than minutes? explain for me please. give me some other ways to sell packages. thanks so much.

just change the minutes to visits.

something similar, I dont know your pricing.

month unlimited 50
10 visits 50, expire 3 months.
20 visits 90, expire 6 months.

if you dont put an expiration on them, I would charge 10 dollars more for every 10 visits.

yup just put up a sign, explaining when the transition takes place.

explain clients are paying for the results the session provides not the minutes in the machine.

or you could do like everyother company seems to be doing and blame it on the rising gas cost. say your electric bill is way up and if you raise the minutes price to compensate it will be too exspensive so its actually beneficial to the customer for me to sell the visits now!

do u have different bed levels? are they different from competitors? Points is the best way to go, most profitable.

How do most salons handle points? 5 points for a $1? Etc? Can Helios do points?

I think points can be done if it is a common thing in the area. We used to do points and people got really confused, even though it is quite simple. Each level of bed took a different amount of points. You could buy a lump sum of points and mix and match the beds to use up your points - just like tickets at the amusement park. Helios can do points pretty easily, its what we use.
