Hello all!

I've been lurking in the forums for the past couple of weeks. I loved what I saw here! Great community and I just had to become a part of it.

First of all, my name is Frank Salas. I live in San Marcos, TX as of right now, I'm 20 years old (21 next month) and I am starting my own spray tan business. I have allready purchased my equipment, I'm using a HVLP from Ki Kava (haven't seen any of these online...at all) and I am going to be using the Norvell solution on my first couple of batches. I am looking for a back-up currently. I am currently looking for a centered location, so I am either opening up in in the Dallas-Fort Worth area or in Austin, TX. As far is my business, it is all spray on. I want to be considered a higher-end business, without the snobbiness. I will definately have the mobile set-up as well and try to be as "Green" as possible (hybrid company car TBA!) .

I am not really asking for any type of help yet... I kind of have it mostly under control, I love love love the advice on here (most of it at least) , and I have been like a sponge trying to soak up all the information I can.

Like I said, I don't really have any specific questions (right now), I am just introducing myself!

If you are referencing the double post I put in the sunless section, I was just trying to introduce myself to both forums, as those are the two that interest me in particular. It was not an error nor was it meant to be spam!

So you will have a salon with only spray tanning? or are you renting a room from a standing salon?

It will be my own retail location. I will have a set up smaller than 1k square feet. If I set up in austin, I will also have a loft on the second floor so that I can live out of. It will be downtown as well.

If I set up in the Dallas area it will be around Southlake TX (average income in 3 miles is 140k 5 miles 110 k ...... and its still close to the DFW metroplex so I can do the mobiles/schools/etc. Also if I set up in Dallas area I get to freeload off mommy and daddy! Haha. Not proud of that as I like doing things on my own but its always good to have a support system!
