Mobile Airbrush tanning

I'm looking for recommendations on mobile compressor units to use in conjunction with HVLP gun.
Also ... currently experimenting with solutions:
(sun-scentuals, Paasche, Australian gold)
Want to know what experienced technicians really love.
Have you heard of non-DHA solutions?

Aimee in Sac. CA.

You need a turbine not a compressor. Do you already have a HVLP gun you are trying to use?

Re: Mobile Airbrush tanning

yes, I have an HVLP gun and it is currently connected to a stationary compressor that I have at home.
I started experimenting/ researching this with my boyfriend to keep me tan and out of the sun. But, of course, I think it is great ...and friends are asking me to do it for them. So, I want to properly educate myself so I can take it to the next level.
I thought I had read that turbine units burn up easily?

No they don't burn up. In over 4 years in the business of only turbine driven spray tanning, I have only had 2 go (bad on/off switches). That is out of over 400 machines I have dealt with. I really wouldn't even worry about that concern.

Good luck! Just wait until the spray goes all over someone's walls, carpet or furniture. You better get a good release form because this will make a huge mess. I don't care what kind of back drop you have, the spray goes all over the ceilings and walls.

An airbrush will and a turbine might if you are doing it wrong. Using too much solution or being too far away from the client. You should be only 4-6" from them. You can spray in peoples showers if it is a problem
