Re: Equipment Dilemma
Hmm -- none of the above?
For 5 units, a few thoughts: 1. I wouldn't start with a 20 min L1 bed. You need to move people through - turnover is critical. Start with a 15 min L1 bed. 2. I never like a HP facial in a L1 bed. Give them something to upgrade too. 3. Of your standups, the SunUpII is an easier sell because of the HP facials. Gives another selling point to clients. 4. I'm not sure what a Ergo Classic 440 is. Classic 450? If so, this is a good bed, but would definitely be used since it hasn't been in production for several years. Make sure you are getting a good price. 5. Of the Starpower, Classic 440 (450? or new 400??)), and Pacifica, the Ergoline is the only VHR bed in the group and will definitely out-tan the other two. If these were the only beds to consider, I would do: 2 Sundash 332 -- 15 min, no HP facial 1 Tan America Pacifica & 1 Tan America SunUpII (same price level) 1 Ergoline 450/400 Down the road, I would anticipate adding something at the higher end (bigger VHR, HP), maybe additional L2 and L3 units (another Pacifica, Ergoline) and perhaps spray.

Re: Equipment Dilemma
Tanamerica beds are built like tanks and last forever. I have seen beds nearly ten years old in some tanning salons here in Florida. I would recommend any and all Tanamerica beds. Again, try to get them USED, if possible. I would contact Tanamerica directly. They always carry some used beds. Good luck.
