Need Help w/Introduction Letter For Newspaper.

I'm trying to figure out what to say in an introduction letter to put in the local newspaper, as a new owner of a salon that got a bad rep from the previous owner that was convicted of a sexual misconduct charge that happened in the salon. Lots of rumors. Some true, some not. So I really need to get the point across to the city that its a NEW, FEMALE owner. No offense guys, but in this case the salon got a rep of a perverted guy owning it. Any advise for the letter & damage control would be greatly appreciated.
