A rumor being spread

I have heard from some of my high school girls that one of my clients is going around telling everyone at school that she caught staph infection from my tanning salon. Am I right to think that she could have gotten this ANYWHERE???? How should I handle this situation---should I approach the girl or just let it go? I'm so confused...

yes talk to her, and most staphs come from the school.... if the school knows she has it they will close it to do a complete cleaning of everthing.

most staff infections come from hospitals.... there is a very good thread on here about it, when i get a few minutes i'll try to find it. :)

let me correct my self, that the spread in the schools as well as the hospital where it probably came from in the first place. good luck

Well this is easy to figure out. Simply ask her how she knows it was from the salon and how many others that go to the salon got the infection? If she can not name anyone that also went the salon and got an infection she really has no proof and that could be considered defamation, the business could take action.

Heck, your in Louisiana! She may even got some tainted lotion that some smuck grabbed from the flooded areas. IT HAS HAPPENED. Those bottles are not water tight and sewer water can get in.

Another reason to NEVER buy online and ONLY buy from a professional salon.

i would contact he rand ask her to please stop telling people she got this from tanning since there is no proof and let her know nicely if this affects your business yo uwill have to consider legal action.

ohh, i like suncrazie's advice. in fact, you should also have a parent or legal guardian present, especially since this person in under the age of 18.
