Re: Advertising????

Re: Advertising????
i have a question about advertising.. I was thinking of putting something about vitamin D in one of my ads. Would the FDA hunt me down for listing the "benefits" of indoor tanning?

Re: Advertising????
Radio, TV and newspaper print does the best for your dollar. Not saying that these are cheap but they see more people than direct mail. I feel direct mail is for more when you have a good client base and mail to them. Do not do any crazy deals because it just kills you in the end. Do things that will help you in the long haul instead of shot term, I know this might sound crazy but if you are in this for the long haul think long haul terms.

Re: Advertising????
If you just purchased this salon you must treat it as though it is a brand new salon, you must expose everyone to the new salon, assuming that you have made all of the appropriate changes to improve packaging and to fix what was wrong. Tan for a week free. Mailers to your data base, email and if you can afford it mailers to targeted areas. This gives everyone an opportunity to experience the new and improved salon.

Re: Advertising????
One of my tanners got my list for me. She narrowed it down to zipcode. But of course not everyone will be my target demo. She is an escrow officer, and it was free.
