Any comments on Ryco Beds?

We just bought a salon in June and are planning on opening another later this year- We are considering Ryco as our bed supplier... Does anyone have any comments on this company and the beds that it makes?? Any help would be great

Ryco is a private label for Solieel (SP) the people. I'm not sure if Soliei is still around.

Yep, Ryco beds are a private label from the company formally known as Soleil. They went out of business and a company called Ventar took over their assets. You can check out www.soleilsys.com

I have 3 of the Soleil Beds. I like the Sollux 40 but not the 40.3. The facials are worthless in my opinion. The SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I ordered my beds with a girl from CTS. I called on Sept 13 to order new acrylics. They wouldn't even call HER back. The new owners are worse than the old owners. I cancelled my order on Oct 8 because the acrylics had not come and they wouldn't return her calls. I ordered from Loop Acrylics (they are great) on Monday and I am supposed to get them this Thursday or Friday. The girl from CTS called me to get Loop's number so she could refer people to them and not the former Soleil.

PS: The beds get super hot and the fans on the side dont help that much. I get good results and people like them. But they would probably like the more if they could stay the whole 12 minutes without worrying about a heat stroke.

I can't agree more, their service was horrible...never a call back.

WOW...I'm shocked!!! I sold my Salon in 2001 and have had thoughts of opening again. I actually had an excellent working relationship w/Craig the owner of RYCO!!! The man was incredibly knowledgeable about the industry. I know he was designing and building beds and even talked briefly of having my husband do onsite installation/repairs for him. We were getting ready to expand...and i was set to order about 6 of his beds....but then I had an offer I couldn't refuse and i sold the business! Is Craig still the owner?
