Buying A Used Tanning Bed
Hello,
I own a cheerleading facility and I have had many many parents say if I would put in a tanning bed they would tan there while waiting on there kids to get done with there class. My husband has agreed to trade his motorcyle ( which is worth prob about 3,000.00) for a tanning bed. I would like to get the biggest bed possilbe. Can anyone tell me what kind of beds are good. And is that enough money for a used bigger bed. Sorry but I hate 20 min. beds. Thank you for your help |

Re: Buying A Used Tanning Bed
I would suggest you take classes and get certified first. Also you need to check your state regulations for tanning services. Buying a tanning bed shouldn't be something you just decided to do one day. There are many things you should look into before buying the bed. Have you checked for power, ventilation (so the bed doesn't run to hot in a small room with a low ceiling depending on the bed type), air condition and insurance in case one of your clients gets burned and decides to sue you? You should get a distributer to help you with things like goggles and lotions so your clients get the best treatment for their skin. Not sure if you can find a nicer used bed for 3k. Have you checked the for sale section?

Re: Buying A Used Tanning Bed
You have many options for that amount of money in the used category. Try to get a unit that has 160 watt lamps (used) instead of some beefed up UVB bed at 10 min that will just burn you.
