Re: What about these Beds
Its rare today, but some customers are still loyal to their tanning salons. If its in a small town with limited competition and people enjoy the staff and the place is kept clean, I think with new guidance and some new beds the business could improve.

Re: What about these Beds
So there are 8 tanning beds and 1 timer system.
Total sales for 2006 = $69K Lets look at this and see if for what it is: you would need minimum 1000sq ft. 1000Sq ft salon would cost = $1500 per month.(avg) Electrical = $600 / month (avg) lamp and starter replacement = $300 / month phone = $60 / month Debit / CC machine = $50 / month yellowpages = $100 / month wages (2 part time working 25 hours / week @ 6.00per hour ea) = $1300 business licence and insurance = $120 / month advertising = $50 / month lotion and other accessories = $600 / month I am sure there are more expences but thats what I can think off the top of my head.... this equals $4680 per month. Your total sales are $5750 per month That = $1070 take home to live on per month. There is NO money to put aside to upgrade. I need more than a $12840 a year job!!!
