Strictly Spray Tan

If I do not purchase the existing salon I am looking at I was wondering if it would be worth renting a small office space to do Airbrush ONLY!

do you think that it would pay for the space and bring in a profit? I would do it part time by appt only...

Re: Strictly Spray Tan

I think you will do better doing only Mobile Airbrushing as there aren't that many doing strictly that.

No. Renting ANY kind of space for something "Part Time" is not going to show any ~real~ R.O.I. & can perhaps leave you running in the red or worse. Landlords get paid the same amount of rent -- regardless of how often you might or might not, use their space. Try investing in a high yield savings account -- a 5+% R.O.I. with no fuss and no muss will show more bang for your buck alll day long.

PS: Don't you already have a job?

Re: Strictly Spray Tan

I would love to see more responses on this. I have planned for my Mobile business to open in a few short weeks. I am having a licensing issue in my town (small town..a bit slow in the times). For starters they wont license ANY mobile business..no mobile massage...nothing. Its really making me angry!!! My only alternative is to rent out a spot...NOT what I want to do. Im thinking about getting a license in a neighboring town?? I dont know what to do. OR I was looking up a transient license...dont know if I spelled that correctly.

I am wondering if its even worth renting out a spot so Im glad someone asked this Q!

Re: Strictly Spray Tan

we started spray tan in january in a room that had a bed but we have 24 and could manage without it .we realized the demand from phone calls and customers last year that airbrush is becoming the mystic of early 2003.we still do more mystics because we have 3 booths and its quicker and cheaper, but even the mystic customers wanna do airbrush. you can charge a high price for the quality of the airbrush and our numbers from the airbrush this year was awesome. we are nearly fully booked and will probably raise prices soon. i dont see the need to go mobile. it could create problems like clients having your employee do airbrushes without you even knowing among other things. thats my 2 cents
