Re: electric bill
ok-what are you all keeping your thermostats set on?
obviously you all live in the "hottest desert in the US"! i have 2000 sq feet and my highest bill so far is about $1000.00 but....but....i have only a front door-and an exit door......no windows....13 beds..... and i have to pay the A/C for the stupid business in the front part of the bldg. i am a freak about keeping it comfortable-and i am a freak about turning the A/C up and nite. our bldg stays pretty comfortable and we have really old A/C units-which scare me-i'm afraid they will go dead any time.-also my responsiblity. i am at the salon enough (all the time) to control the settings if it gets out of whack. for those of you wondering- the business in the front of the building pays the heat/gas. they make out like bandits! the heat from our beds keep the whole block warm in the winter! my fault for agreeing to it...... |
