Ideas for a new management market letter

I going to be taking over an existing salon in a month or so. It needs alot of marketing. The first thing I thought to do is target the existing database of 1100 or so with a new management letter of some sorts. Does anyone have any ideas of what I should say or offer to let the clients know of change and get back any that are not active? All your ideas would be a great help.

Re: Ideas for a new management market letter

Just maybe a mailer stating that the salon is under new managment, introduce yourself, tell a little bit about yourself, maybe have an "open house" meet and greet type of thing. Do a free tan day with it, or run a "management special" on packages. Search the site, might find something

Just use the search function and type in key words. It'll come up with some threads that has been discussed in the past.

Re: Ideas for a new management market letter

Don't waste a mailer just telling people there is a new manager, A mailer should bring tanners to your store. You can mention a new owner however that is a negative message. Right away people think it will effect the tanning packages they have. A mailer should list a few specials designed to bring them in. Work that data base.

Re: Ideas for a new management market letter

Steve is RIGHT, as usual. And a letter that conveys the message that you "value the recipient", and not just their "business" will help too. Hope this helps. Good luck to all of you.
