Re: Calling all Veterans

A lot of great points Brandy.
What you do now will determine how effective your slower season is as well.
When the new year begins, as it already has you must not only concentrate on your existing client base with constant contact and rewards for being a client. This is done by Email, Direct Mail, and even text messaging. You must also work on building additional client base with offers that make it impossible not to visit your salon. What happens when they get there will be determined by the effectiveness of your salon packaging, pricing and employee training. Getting new clients is easy, keeping clients is easy, getting clients back after you loose them is impossible. You must build your business around EFT memberships, This will make your salon successful through all seasons. There are many elements to a successful plan this is just a very broad stroke. The amount of business you do is in direct relationship to the amount of and type of advertising you do. Another thought, cable TV spots are available for as little as $30 per spot. Depending on your market and the size of your salon this is a great form of advertising. One last thought Sales meetings, once a month that cover 90% sales training and 10% procedure.
