Re: Tanning Bed pricing list anywhere?
This is my guesstiment with all having 1000 hours: Sundash 240, $2500-$3500 Sundash standup, Maybe $3000 if your lucky, Hot pepper, $7000-$8000, best bed they make, Kiss, $3000, and last but not least the Sundash 226, $800-$1000. I've been looking at all these units and this has been the average price on these.

Re: Tanning Bed pricing list anywhere?
But if you are moving the beds to a new location the buck boosters may not work for you.
Are you buying a salon and this are the beds?when you buy a exstising salon your not putting a value on the equipment as much as you are that it is established and the reputation, postive cash flow etc.Unless the equipment is from the 80's or 90's and need to be updated, then thats a different story. Is the salon closing and you are only trying to buy the beds off them? Give us the whole story and we can answer better. |

Re: Tanning Bed pricing list anywhere?
The Sundash 226 new sold for probably 5K and used, depending on condition and age could be $750 - 2500 (high end, in all cases, would be new acrylics, new lamps, detailed cleaning, with the box fan, etc). They will run forever, very reliable, good results. 26 lamps is a little "weak" now compared to most base beds (more standard is 32 lamps new now) but will find MANY salons still running beds like these or these exact beds.
The 240 is generally a Level 2 bed, sometimes called "Super). 40 lamps total, those in the canopy are higher wattage. No facials, but a ******* tan. Great coverage on the sides due to the "scoop" design, but some people have a little trouble getting in and out of them (if they are really short legged, or elderly). About 10K new, probably $3000-4800 used. The Radius stand-up is a good average stand-up. Nothing great, nothing bad. Probably about equal to the 240. Generally find them between $1500 and 4000 used -- was probably $10K new. Need a buckbooster. As Parrothead, said, the Hot Pepper for Soltron was very popular - about $14K new and probably $7-10K used (they haven't been made long, only a few years). Ditto his comments on the kiss (maybe a bit higher if it has facials). The Sundash equipment is great. Soltron has generally been well-received, flashier looking, not always quite as dependable. Issues with acrylics cracking on some. |

Re: Tanning Bed pricing list anywhere?
You don't need buckboosters with Sundash equipment. They use magnetic ballast.
