Opinions on beds

I am opening a small salon and I am trying to decide on beds. Basically for the money I have narrowed it down to either the Soleil Sollux 36.3 or the Klafsun Elite 36/3.

I have been looking at the Soleil Sollux 36.3 for a while and I have gotten a really good price. This is a 15 minute bed. I like the size, built-in timer and body fans that run down the spine of the bed.

I live about 30 minutes from Klafsun and they have a bed called the Elite 36/3. This bed is new to Klafsun and they rate it as a 12 minute bed. This bed appears to be based on the Sunny Power by Alpha Power (Alpha Power 36). In fact they have an Sunny Power by Alpha Power (Alpha Power 36) in their show room and told me it was the prototype of the Elite 32. This bed is $500.00 cheaper then the Soleil Sollux 36.3.

Any opinions on these beds would be appreciated. Also what about laying time. Do you find clients like 12 or 15 minute beds?

Re: Opinions on beds

I have the 40.3 sollux, well its called a suncraze from where we purchased it from, but its bascially the same bed. We love it, our most popular bed. Very easily assembled, and maintained. Good access to everything. We have 20 and 12 minute laydowns, and a 10 minute stand up. Most people enjoy teh 12 minutes because its quicker, especially if they are on a lunch hour or something like that. Others like more time so they can sleep longer. Just depends on the person really

I am also thinking of getting one or two of these beds, maybe with the additional shoulder tanners they now offer. IMO go with the sollux bed.

Re: Opinions on beds

Sollux beds are reasonably priced, plain jane beds that hold up reasonably well. Vhr versions are hotboxes. Most Klafsuns that I know are Sontegra's. Sontegra makes first rate workhorses that last longer than most salons will be in business.

International,

I have not seen the shoulder tanners. Do you have a website showing them?

Re: Opinions on beds

We have 3 Sollux 40's. One has the facials. Compared to other beds that I have been in that have facial bulbs, the Sollux facials are crap. There is just straight frosted acrylic over the HP bulbs and you can barely tell they are on. Facial bulbs with the filter glass (that feel like they are melting your face off) is what I consider to be facial bulbs. The only thing we have had problems with was the acrylics but they have redesigned those anyways. I wouldn't spend the extra money on the facials unless you just want to say you have beds with facial tanners.
