Thumbs up soltron beds

opening new salon in November and trying to decide on beds. Can anyone give me feedback on Soltron beds? I am looking at the

KISS for my "work horse"
FLIRT for level 2 and
WAVE for level 3
and the SHUTTLE STAND UP

My distributor suggests waiting on the stand up and adding it when business gets going.

Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: soltron beds

Forget the Shuttle entirely. It's a loser and I'm suprised the ditsy didn't try to talk you out of it. Mine did. The other Soltron beds should be ok if your ditsy will service what he sells. Soltron equipment, as any equipment, is only as good as the service. I have Soltron beds, but would never buy them again.

Re: soltron beds

The Shuttle sucks,
but the Space Cab/Vertical are awesome.

10 min. and the lamps are right on you.

Re: soltron beds

you need a standup.. theres some customers who will only use the standup.. dont wait till later. plus the disty should be giving you a better Deal if you buy it now with the rest of the equipment.

got your email

we did the soltron seashells (4)--these are fancy sundash beds
2 hot peppers
1 SU
1 Wave

don't listen to people who tell you they suck and their ditsy sucks. yes, all ditsy's are not created equal. i really ran my guy through the ringer on everything, but when it was all said and done, they deilvered on time, did a great job at install, had a bad ballast and they came back in two days to fix, and gave me some touch up paint if we ever ding a bed. so far so good with my guys.

my opinion is, if you're demographic DEMANDS somthing diffrent and better, and you have the money, these beds are fine.

Re: soltron beds

You will be shocked when it's time to change the acrylics on your Soltron beds. The Wave acrylic alone will cost you almost $2000. The others are over $1200 each. And, you better order them early, because they are not stocked here in the states. They have to come from Germany by boat; and it's a slow boat. My 9 Soltron beds had to have everyone of the acrylics replaced in just the first year. If you never need service, Soltron should be fine for you. Yes, just fine. Not great.

Re: soltron beds

Most of the Soltron acrylics are flat.
You should be able to have loop or someone replicate them .
If not, they should start.

Re: soltron beds

I have had all Soltron beds in my salon for 18 months. Everyone seems
very happy with the results. Knock on wood no real maintance problems.
Service is questionable. I have 5 levels.

1-Kiss
2-Champ
3-Race - Space Cab
4-Chill
5-Shark

fine is an adjective, don't take it so literal.

well if you worked your deal out right, you would have gotten a slew of lamps and a change of acrylics as part of your deal.....guess not huh?

service has been great so far! Glad my ditsy is only 1 1/2 hours from me, guess it makes it easy to go there personally if need be.
