Re: soltron beds

My ditsy is 2500 miles from me, and no I got no such deal. But, everything is just fine now. As a matter of fact, I had to replace lamps in my new beds after only 200 hours on them. I had to pay for them: no ditsy help here.

Re: soltron beds

In regards to the Soltron acrylics cracking, I just discovered my Wave acrylic is cracking again. This bed doesn't have a thousand hours on it yet and this will be the second bottom acrylic I have had to replace. Now, I'm just waiting for the other 8 bed acrylics, which I replaced, to start cracking. It's only a matter of time, and not much of it, I'm afraid.

Re: soltron beds

Yea, it's nothing new for all the soltron beds to have spider webbing/cracked ice cracks after a couple hundred hours. What I'm wondering is, how in the **** can they keep selling beds? Not all potential buyers read these forums. If they did , Soltron wouldn't be selling any equipment.

Re: soltron beds

My Salons are all Soltron, First off, They have changed the Acrylics now so no more spider webbing. Only one of my beds had this happen, The Wave. Soltron replaced mine under warranty. They went with thicker plastic to combat the problem The problem was there are no center supports in the middle of the acrylic, so it caused stress.

Get a new distributor. He's out of his mind. The very fact that soltron suggested to not get a booth is insanity. soltron is grand opening/grand closing

Re: soltron beds

old ergo 600c do not have acrylic support. newer evo 600, 800 etc do not have acrylic support in the middle. but on the newer evo line your acrylics crack where the front acylic support is. no spider webb cracks just straight cracks. old line do not have issues with acrylics and they last 2k to 3k hrs depending on how well you take care of them. they say they are using better stuff on replacements but how many units are in warehouses ready to ship that still have the older stuff you think they are going to replace those before they ship.
just my .02
