I spent about 500.00 with 4 different companies to see what I liked best. 2K to answer your question but that was over a period of the first 4 weeks I was open and experimenting.

We purchased approximately $3K in Lotions (Designer Skin, California Tan, and Supre). One mistake we made was going with the manufacturers lotion display kits, generally containing a Maximizer, Bronzer and Hot bottle of their lotion. Apparently, our customers preferred buying bottles off the shelf, instead of them being featured on a manufacturers plastic display. No lamps were ordered for opening.

When I bought my salon, all they had was the crap they couldn't sell, about $300 worth. I experimented with different lotions and ordered about $1000. Now I just order 2-3 bottles at a time, except for Vision, Skin System Bronzing lotion and CT total Immersion. Those I order at least 6-12 bottles of, they go flying off the shelf. No extra lamps ordered, but had to relamp all the beds when I opened....

4K in lotion to start from scratch...bought a few extra bulbs when I relamped!

I bought all new beds so no spare lamps.......I have at least 5,000 in retail for lotions.
