UV or not UV? That is the question!

Hi

I'm looking to take over a tanning salon in a densely populated area with high competition.
The salon in question has been really badly run in terms of marketing, staffing etc ( I know as I've been a customer there for 3 years) and has been closed for a month due to a leak.
I'm looking to differentiate myself from other salons locally and don't want to rely on the customer base that comes with this salon as by now they will have skipped off somewhere else.

I'd like some advice regarding the UV free market, how popular is it really?

With the right marketing could I go completely UV free if I offered an expert service. I'm in EUROPE and I believe in the US there is a Spray Tan chain called Brazillian Glo Bars, do any of you know of this and how well are they doing?

so you bought a existing salon that has no UV free and you want ot turn it into a ONLY UV free salon........why did you buy it then!

I haven't bought the salon yet.

The salon is for sale at a good and negotiable price in a very good location. The current owner works full time in another job and has neither the time nor the inclination to look after the salon.

The salon currently has 4 vertical UV beds which are 3 years old and a portable UV free unit (California Tan), with a beauty room and is newly decorated.

As I mentioned, I am looking for a way to distinguish myself from the local competition and I'm aware of the growing concern of UV tanning. Of course there there is still a market for UV tanning.

Do you know anything about the Glow Bars I mentioned?

I've heard that SunFX is good?
