Re: buying used?

You will find that there are a lot of used beds out there. Kind of like a used car. Do you want pretty stickers and decals and flashing lights or do you want to tan? A bed that is new might cost 10 times what you can get one used for.
If you start your business and set yourself apart from the competition by the fact that you have the newest, latest, greatest beds someone else will do the same to you in a couple of years. Sell your service. Sell your results. Don't make a big deal out of having new beds.

New lamps and new acrylic = new performance. If you put the same ballasts, same lamps and same acrylic in a new bed and one that is 5 years old, do you expect to get better results because the bed is new?

Re: buying used?

(Keep in mind that the above statement is just my opinion and I am probably in the minority.)

Re: buying used?

I would consider buying used from someone I did not know only if the bed(s) is just like new, I can see it operate and I can pick it up myself. To often when buying used items you are buying someone elses problem. JMO

Re: buying used?

Thank you, I'm still searching for my upgrade beds, trying to research and figure out which is really worth the 40k and under (under being the key)
