Newbie Mistake

I need some serious advice. See I purchased a salon about 3 months ago and I have been open for 1 month, but I think I screwed up on my location. Where my shop is at there is a population of 23,000 but there are 5 salons in town, one being about 100ft down the road from me that has been there a few years and are well established. Right now I have the oppurtunity to move to a town closer to where i live with a population of 32,000 and only 3 other salons, but none close to the location I have been checking out. I guess my question is should I stick it out where I am at or move to the new location...What would youdo honestly??? Please help...Thanks

Also the new location I am talking of is located in a shopping mall next door to a JC Penny, with other stores such as Foot Locker, Claires, Carsons, Applebees and many other, but there are 3 other tanning salons within 3 miles...What do you think????????????

Did you sign a lease? I would assume that you made some type of commitment to the landlord where you are.

What's your commitment to your present location? How do you compare with the other salons in your area now? When you bought this salon, evidently you thought you could make some money. What has changed in this short period of time? No matter where you open a salon at this time of the year, it's going to seem like you made a mistake.
