Client Cards

OK I know this is probably a dumb question, but I will ask anyway. I know that most of you use computer programs now, but right now we are still on the card system (waiting for our disk to come in for our computer), how do I handle when a card gets full? Do I make the client fill out another card completely or should I just staple another card to it? Also, can you use the client cards from previous year (i.e. last years cards) or do they have to fill out a new one everytime? I know this may seem like a stupid question, but when I purchased the salon they did not have a computer and I needed to get through JASON before I bought one. Please help me. I hopefully only have a couple more weeks before we go straight to computer, but for now it is still only cards.

Re: Client Cards

I stapled them. I had some that were up to 3 or 4 cards.

Re: Client Cards

I stapled them also. I didn't make them fill out a new card - I just stapled blank ones to their original card.

Re: Client Cards

When you get several cards, use a bigger stapler.

Re: Client Cards

LOL clubtan.....we also staple them. We are computerized but always use cards just in case. We have some clients who have 5 or 6 cards stapled together....and yes, you have to use an industrial stapler! :)

Smile Re: Client Cards

I scan the back of the card and then print out copies of them on regular comp paper & staple to original card. It's not a bulky and doesn't waste cards.

Re: Client Cards

we've been open for 10 years, i have some customers with up to 10 cards, stapled. yes, i know this is ridiculous but i like to see who my true blue ones are, and i remind them and thank them for all their business.
