Re: Tanning veterans: ur biggest mistake?

EasyLiving_Jim- I am curious why you consider the sunless a big mistake. We were concerned that we don't have one.

Re: Tanning veterans: ur biggest mistake?

My big mistake was expanding to fast and not saving $$$ for the slow season.

Oh and having a friend do the out build. The aphorism “never do business with friends or family” is sooo true.

Re: Tanning veterans: ur biggest mistake?

JensSunQues-Yes, I also did not do my research and Opened July 1st. Big mistake. Instead of getting through slow season with money from busy season, I am always going to be behind now. That is a good mistake to learn from. All the new salons that have opened since me have been smarter-opened January 1st. That is a very good point to make. Some have argued that when you open in slow season, you have time to work out the kinks before busy season. True in a way, but you have to have money to do it!!
