I have the sunrise, sunburst and power tower 10000 and aside from 2 sold to me that were actually used They are great beds.I don't think that they were any more overpriced than others, However stay away from Pacific Tanning supplies for any bed purchases that is if you want strickley new equipment.

I am of course predjudiced, but we have used them for many years and they are the priced well for a machine that is built to last and continue to tan your clients well for many years to come. Many people think price and forget about value. It also helps to find a distributor who can give you a good discount on multibed purchases. Do some research in your area. It makes sense to use equipment that is not a copy cat of your competitors.

Remember, I am very biased toward UltraSun.

Hardly over priced, you would be hard pressed to find equipment that can keep up with it.

I think it is harder than most to clean/maintain. The 38 lamp with the "bends" in the acrylic are difficult to clean because of the angles. The lamps are harder to change than many other brands of beds. And I've seen some early mechanical issues (needing new starters, etc on fairly new beds).

Overall, I think they are priced ok and tan ok -- I just think there are better options when you factor everything in.

We've just installed a Turbo Power 25000.

All I can say is... WOW...!!!!

We really like it. More importantly, so do our Clients. And they keep coming in with handfuls of money.... lol... he he he...!!!!!

Seriously, we did look at a few different alternatives but the UK distributor of the UltraSun range came right out on top alongside the Turbo Power bed itself. Made our choice easy...

No.1 bed.... No.1 distributor.

UltraSun is the company that started the BIG BED craze now going. You can thank them for many choices now available here in the USA that were not here until Ultrasun blazed the trail. I have their beds and am very happy.

There are other nice units out there too and I am sure others will chime in who have some that they are happy with.

But if you take into account looks, durability, tanning ability, and cost of future maintenance; UltraSun is going to be a good choice.

Just wait till they don't "work", and you can't get support. It's all in the lamps people. But by all means, please buy these beds. Bed repair techs have kids to send to college.

Mr.B must be talking about Tan America or ETS. Two of my biggest customers for service work.

There are a few old US models that can be difficult until you have the experience to know the tricks.
