Anyone is not let in. Every resident can put 10 people on an entry list. That's it. Otherwise, we have to call everyone in. They won't even let workers in if they have no proof of insurance, even if they were called. They wouldn't even let me in to see my future home bc I didn't have an account yet. VERY STRICT! This whole set up is strange. There are 2 ownerships here. One is the owner of the ordard and commercial property, and one is an organization of the neighborhood and country club. The landlord has an agreement with the Country Club that they are suppose to let anyone in who wants to come to the commercial property and do business. I'm not sure how he is going to pull this off but he says he will.

So, lets say you are doing some advertisement in a newspaper, or flyers or even on a website and someone wants to come by and check out the salon...how is that person going to get in if they do not belong to your gated community? Sounds like a hassle for the future customer.

Ok. I spent about 1/2 hour reading this post at 6 am way aps t my bedtime...very interesting. What did you ultimately decide or was it posted elsewhere.
My question for the experts is what would be a good business strategy for TanDeSoleil since hers was not feasible? I personally think a salon/spa would be a great idea for the amount of money she was spending. I would pay salary or commission, no room rent and work out something with the hairdresser. Hair, nails, massage and skincare and maybe just just maybe one stand up bed if funds and space permitted it. This is my first time on this site, I know absolutely nothing about tanning but trying to figure it out. |
