Re: employee manuals

Just so you know there is a manual on tantoday that is in word so you can just download it right away. Just search for employee handbook and it should pop right up, I think paradise tanning posted it in case you want to search for it that way.

Re: employee manuals

I downloaded the one from this thread and got the one from Greg. Both are good, but I found Greg's far more complete and got into more areas overall. That said, I applaud both for sharing their works for others. This was especially important to me because I bought an existing operation that had only informal / verbal rules, and I was constantly fighting the "well, the old owner did it THIS way, so it must be right" syndrome. Using these two documents as guides I was able to publish my own set of rules that I now know are pretty standard in the industry and can now point to it in times of dispute. Thanks to both for your good work and implicit guidance to us newbies.

Re: employee manuals

Me too. Tanks. ~For a reasonable fee, I would be motivated to write and publish and employee manual for tanning salons. PM me here if anyone is interested.~

Re: employee manuals

Anyone with a manual that they wouldn't mind emailing it to me it would be greatly appreciated. Right now its a family owned and ran business but its picking up and I would like to take a look at several manuals so I can compose one of my own.

Thanks in advance!
