You know, I made a mistake. Your beds already have timers. (Assuming your beds have digital timers and network jacks)All you need is the "4 wire flat" phone cord and RJ-22 "handset connectors"; enough to go from the manager to bed to bed to bed. Most of the software packages support Helios. And everything that Sal just said too.

They say they have a digital timer with built in hour meter and a built in remote timer, daisy-chainable, and they are Tmax ready. I'm guessing that means I just supply the wire. But from what I'm getting from this is that I do need a manager regardless of software.

I'm going to check out that link Sally. Thanks.

That's a big 10-4 on the manager.

Yes. Managers generally run about $500 -600 for the bigger one, but I think (but am not sure) they may have one for 8 beds or less that could work in your situation that might be cheaper.

Notice - this isn't "normal" phone line! It sort of looks like it, but it is "4 wire flat" or "2 pair". The manuals will clarify this, but don't make this common mistake!

Timers. Networks. Beds. Software. Electricians. Engineers. Building codes. It really isn't worth it. Don't forget Cat 5 fire rated four pair if you're going to put it in the walls. Then you'll need RJ-11 4 conductor wall jacks, which becomes a "T-Bone" network ... Nevermind. Good luck.
