For those of you purchasing an existin salon..........
Do your research. See what the beds are worth. Usually 1/2 to 1/3 of the original cost. Other equipment is the same. YOu told us about cost, but what is the income? If the cost is $182K, the income should be about $270????? Your rent is $5K per month??? The cost of lamps and workers comp is too low. Why cell phones? The talk to each other from the rooms? |

If the lotions costs are low, that could be good if it means they haven't sold them properly. It gives you plenty of room to increase that part of it. I agree with sunsally, about 30% of my monthly income is on lotions.

Look, rule of thumb, totally serious now, you're way better off "starting" your own place than you are b uying someone else's failure. I don't care what thir excuse is for wanting to sell. If they were making money, they wouldn't be selling. Period.

I hope he doesn't either!LOL How many beds do you have? I have only four. But yes I am sure it won't last for much longer then I will get a wakeup call. LOL I have been renting from him for almost 3 years now and he hasn't yet. I do have a 6 year lease so when that expires I am sure he'll raise the rent. But until then I know I am so fortunate and I am putting away some money for future expansions. God Bless my landlord.LOL |

DOES YOUR LANDLORD OWN ANY BUILDINGS IN CT???? IF SO, I'LL RENT WHATEVER IS OPEN!!! |
