hey I am wanting to open my own tanning salon, I heard that I might want to go and get a degree in buisness. Did any of yall do that? Also, what all does it REALLY take for someone to open a salon??? Any input would be helpful, and some tips would also be appriciated. Thank You, Jenn

Think before you do tanning? For about the same amount of $$ you can open sevreal non seasonal
businesses that will make more money an less head ache. I'm starting to hate this industry!

I would work at a salon for a year or two...since you are still young there is tons of time to get in there and open your own store!

To be successful in tanning you must be properly funded. in this industry it takes a great deal of money to make the really big money.

Hey SOONER FAN,

Naw, you don't need to darn degree to get into this business. I know some high school drop outs who are in this business and doing quite well. This business just takes common sense, like don't open a salon during the summer, stuff like that.
