We have been looking and looking for reception chairs. Any suggestions on reception chairs? Should they be high end chairs or just the plastic waiting room chairs...does it make a difference?

Guess it depends how you want your salon to look.I have chairs from Pier 1 Imports.

It absolutely makes a difference. You want the first impression to be a good one. Junky looking cghairs wil not be a positive thing.

Also, remember that the customers may be sitting in those chairs after tanning and will be covered in lotion. Purchase chairs that are easy to clean, like Naugahide and such or even wicker.

Thanks..we have been looking at the black plastic chairs. I guess I should look at Pier One. I have been looking everywhere else except there....

Also, we have been told that mirrors are a good thing in the rooms and not a good thing. That customers tend to take longer in the rooms with mirrors. We will have a place in the salon or tidying up (blow dryer, mirror, hair spray etc....)
