YOu never asked if you wanted booth or gun... So now you get everyone that has a unit or wishes they had a unit.
Gee...Can I say CELEBRITY TAN? This is a first. If you want to learn about spray tanning, and not the mumbo jumbo you get from those that eat up the propaganda, just ask. And before you ask, yes, I promote the Celebrity Tan, so don't ask. However, I also do something that none of the others will do and that is give you the information on the FDA warnings, the truth about the solutions and I'll even tell you where to buy the cheapest supplies. Get the others to give you that much help. HAH!!! Take that.!!! |

Hello Ramcat,
I got a question for you. We owned a Celebrity Tan booth from you 6 months ago, and we used it as a demo booth. Hopelessly we cannot keep it today because we must close our shop. I have read your messages in different topics, and we all can see that you're very emphatic about Celebrity Tan and the service you can provide your clients with. But I have a question for you : it's now 21 days I sent you an email asking you about buying back our booth at any reasonnable price you could resell it at a very promotionnal price for any of your future clients... Can you explain me why we've NEVER received any answer from you, NOR any offer to help us about that ? That's what you call "service" ?!!! I really think Celebrity Tan is the best booth on the Market (concerning the tan quality), but I'm sure of something : if you want to enter the top 5 listed tanning booths companies, you MUST improve your service. Maybe this message is the occasion for you to make a first step towards success ? I hope so... |

We have great results with the Mystic Tan booth. Customer/Technical Service though can definitely improve. The people are knowledgeable and friendly, but their processes need work. We just paid for overnight delivery to get the wrong part. So, we will spend the 4th of July weekend using a wet/dry vac to drain the unit after every use. And of course, this stuff always happens on a Friday!!

Has Anyone purchased the new Hex sunless booth or tried one out? If so, what is your opinion? I requested information from the Hex site and was sent a sample of the solution to try. I sprayed it on and like the coloring as well as the bronzed appearence that came about a couple of hours later. Anyone know what they are selling for? Thanks!

MagicTan is by far the nicest looking booth and you will not have to worry about the technical issues. It is designed to be Maintenance free. It does not have all the moving parts like the others. I have a couple of them and helped install several others.
Not one service call yet on their MT-2000 or 3500 which came out last year. They too have all the celebrities tanning on it. They even had a head to head competition in Hollywood and MagictAn won. Mystic does have a pretty strong PR machine but clients will prefer Magic if they try them both. R |

D, I posted in the other forum about this same topic. MiracleMist has a built in changing room available (list is about $1k, but negotiate with Patrick) and no plumbing needed at the booth. Older units have had some issues, but Patrick (actually Roman or one of the others) is quick to get parts out. There is also a new retrofit for those of us who have issues related to unit with low volumes of customers. I should be getting mine within a week

No One mentioned Mist On Tan. I have over 2000 sessions and have NEVER had a complaint. Anytme I call for info on a problem, whilch is very rare, I have someone available to answer it and walk me through a repair or adjustment. They have yet to have to come out and do anything to it. It is a perfect operating machine giving a great looking tan EVERY TIME. I recommend it highly. may ber a little more expensive initially than some of the others, but in the long run you get what you pay for.

Hey LiverpoolKing, Sorry to hear the crap you have had with Mystic/Blue. I am also a Mystic owner in the UK also through Blue. Had no problems whatsoever. If you purchased the unit through Blue than if less than a year old Blue will continue to maintain the unit through warranty. If however the unit is over a year old you should be able to purchase an extended warranty through blue again to continue to maintain the unit. I am aware though that recently they have been snowed under with busy season and have found t difficult to cope with all of the calls. Cal Tan soloution aint a problem. In fact it is all i have ever used (Cal Tan Premium lot cheaper than Mystic). Blue have stopped selling unit and have moved over to the new Cal Tan Sunless Unit, however haven't forgotten about us Mystics out there. If you ever have any maintenance queries call Blue & ask for Callum. Top lad, will drink you outta tea though. |
