Rep Power: 0 tannaked will become famous soon enough
I am brand new to the tanning business. Really. We take over an existing and barely thriving salon the first of July.

We went to the expo in Vegas and were basically over whelmed with all the 'spray options' available.

We have ruled out the hand held sprays, not because of the product itself, but because it was a part of the salon (for a short period) also due to where we are located. Very conservative and self conscious individuals.

Did anyone see the new booth? Did you stay to watch the whole process?
What is your opinion?
What about cost? It is higher, but would be consistent and easy to install maintain.
Any points I am missing or anything to consider when researching?
I have tried the Mystic Booth with good results. I thought this would be ...'less messy?'

Thanks for any input!!!

We also looked at the MyMystic in Vegas. Wasn't at all impressed with the booth. I think this booth, at $19,995 (show special) should be priced at around $9,995. In a couple of years you'll be able to buy it for that. Mystic also has you locked-in on buying the solution.

The "show special" is only $2K less than the reg price... nothing that makes one jump on a new machine that, like parrot head said, has you locked into buying their "sure it costs a bit more for solution because of packaging and ease of use for the customer." I like the size and shape of it and the idea behind it- they say (but did not say when) that they will have more than just the current 4 solutions that will include several scents and levels of formula. I watched the demo- seemed to cover the girl evenly. That all said- call them about the price and solution deals/options... depending on your market- at just under $20K with the Mystic name it may be a good opportunity to get new clients in your door.

Check out the Celebrity Tan Booth. There is a special for salon forum talkers of $19,999. That is a significant reduction in price for an all stainless steel booth with a 3 year 100% warranty.

It is my understanding that Magictan now has reached an agreement with Dr. Laughlin. There are now three licensees of Dr. Laughlin.

They definately have the most advanced booth with the least that could go wrong. Very low maintenance.
