In our base bed, you can buy 12 sessions for $48.00 or 300 points for $48.00 (takes 25 points to use base bed). It works out to be exactly the same - $4.00/tan. But from a consumers standpoint, which deal sounds better?

Ohhhh, thanks for the compliment SandiGirl. I think the beds are worth more than $4.00/tan too. I just need to convince the customer who is getting 300 minutes for $30.00 (at our competion) that our beds are worth more. Everyone wants it for nearly nothing.

Give the first tan free, get them hooked and they'll pay. You'll always have the cheap people who don't care about the beds or the look of the salon....the can stay at the other salon. The salon next to us has $24.99/mn for his 20 minute beds. Our 12 minute beds are $34.99 but people driving by wouldn't know the difference. SO I put a sign up that says "Tan for $24.99" which is actually for 50 minutes. I just need them in the door to show them and explain the difference.
