It is different wherever you are located in the country. I am in the Northeast, I have a 6 unit salon, and we are open 9:30-8:00 M-Sat, 10:30-4:00 Sundays. In July/August we are open 10-7 M0F, Sat 10-6, and closed on Sundays.... We have been in business for 2 years, and heres how the year go's for me..

Sept-Nov (worst part of the year) We see 37-60 people per day. These month's you are hoping to break even.

Dec-Feb (Getting better) We see 50-75 people per day.

Mar-May (Busy season) We see 100-135 people per day.

June-August (Summer is pretty good to us) We see 45-65 people per day

I have a 7 unit salon & spray tanning services, we are open M-Th 10:00-9:00 fri 10-7 Sat 10-4 and sunday 12-4, we are closed Sundays Aug - March ....pretty much the same as jKonturas , I work most of the hours myself & do all the spray tanning so I am often here from 9:30 to 7:00, we are too small for a washer & dryer so I am the laundry queen !!! We are approching 3 years.

JASON........July, August , Sept , Oct , Nov....the slow months as a general rule !!!

My salon is open Mon-Fri 11-8 and Sat and Sun 11-5, I am here pretty all the time except Wednesday nights and Sundays. I get nervous when I'm not here, I guess I am a bit of a control freak.

Me being in a college town, I would think that it wouldn't be that slow fro, Sept on. Is it slower for people who own a salon in a college town during the fall months? Also, There are about 12 tanning salons in Bryan/College Station and over the past couple of years in every salon that i have tanned in there is always a wait for a tanning bed.
