I looked on that website and saw only a Florida distributorship for sale. And it doesn't say anything about "asset only". Is there some other one? I'd be surprised to see Magic Tan go out of business when they seem to be #2 in the sunless business. Just got off an hour and a half wait for my Mystic and every person paid between $20-30 per spray (depending on what package they were on).

I would try the Cal Tan Unit...we are trying it tom. and I am very excited about their design. It is open and sprays both sides at the same time...at least that is what I am told.
I think they will give Mystic a run for their money...and I think they think that as well! Mystic has matched Cal-Tan's offer of free lotion and I am sure it will get more and more interesting...ITS ABOUT TIME! I am happy, since session prices have gone down in our market...the extra competition for Mystic is a breath of fresh air! |

I am a distrubuter of spray tan equiment and supplies and I have several clients who only us thier booths to spray people nude. The rest of the time it sits empty. You also have to keep in mind that booths really use quite a lot of solution compared to a hand held unit (HVLP)It really is a lot of money to spend to think about it before you buy.

We have 3 spray tan booths with a population of 17,000. It has went from 25.00 down to 10.00 a tan at one salon. Now they charge 38.00 a month unlimited with no sign up fee. The others are still 10.00 a tan. I chose not to get into the spray tan stuff.

Salon owners drop their pants on pricing because they mistakenly believe that having the lowest prices will draw oodles of tanners from their comeptitors, but it never happens. Sure, they get a few coupon commandos, but it never draws enough serious customers to make up for the revenue loss. Unfortunately, everybody else in the space gets spooked and drops their prices too. Next thing you know, you're still providing the same amount of service, but you're only making half as much. Good luck.
