As I understand it, MT is supporting PBT with money to become the tanning franchise king (or gorrilla). I see no sense in giving money to a company that may one day put me out of business. As for market saturation, spray tanning, in one form or another, appears to be everywhere now. In my small town alone there are 3 booths (I'm one of them) and it looks like everyone else has hand spray including every other tanning salon, gym's, nail salons, day spa's, a few stand alone's and a few working out of their own bathrooms. What's next? The Quickie Mart! (Hit me Ahpoo!) On the other hand, I think there's still profit to be made, just not at the level of a couple of years ago. I think booths beat hand sprays. If I had to start today, I'd be looking for a good, used spray booth. Anything but a MT.

Having a spray unit opens up customers you would never have before...it does not compete with tanning only complements tanning! We have a huge 50+ crowd that would never tan if it was not for a spray option.

I think it is very important to have a spray unit. It brings in a different clientele, it just does! I am glad CalTan has their new booth and it looks like Mystic and CalTan are going at it, which is just better for all of us!
