My advice would be to stick with your proven business plan of childcare and stay away from tanning you pay 1100 a month for rent for your childcare instead of paying rent buy a house and use the 1100 towards mortgage, there may be something to it , but only if you enjoy childcare of course there are many different ways to buy a house with little downpayment, and also other factors such as city you live in and property price read up on the subject many helpful books at your local library on real estate investing.Invest your time on researching positives and negatives of owning the home you have a daycare in you might be surprised at what you find.Just my opinion investing your time on researching such subjects would really be helpful.

I'm sure it depends on where you are located, but I am in a small town and have a 5 bed salon, there is no way I could support my family on this income alone. Like Engfant said . . . I don't even pay myself, and have to watch my pennies to keep the salon alive. I have been in business for almost 3 years and I have paid myself one time, one month and I pay for my sons' school tuition, everything else goes back into the salon.

Oh great. I'm trying to expand and buy beds with a 4 year plan. I have heavy competition in the area too. Maybe I should think of opening that Frozen Banana stand, after all.

When did you decide to move to Florida? I'll set up a booth onthe beach. We can also get a mobile cart and travel all 30-50 miles of beaches. We'll make a fortune.

YOu need to look at the "How's your weather" thread to see the uniform of choice. Just imagine it in chocolate coating.

I have often thought it but never ask. Why do those of you who make no profit stay in this business? It is very time consuming and takes a lot, why do it if you make no profit or barely break even? Some of you who complain of NO income have been doing this for quite sometime. Granted, I have only been doing this for 8 months but 6-8-10 years down the road if I am barely making it, I won't be doing it. I am determind to be a success but if it isn't going to happen why waste your time to break even? Just wondering
