SunnyO -
Go to www.smartpages.com (or your paper yellow pages) and make sure there aren't already salons with names like these - or close to it. For example, "Island Sun Tanning" is big in MI. As well as "Tropitan" (very similar to "Tropical Tan". Maybe you WANT people to be a little confused and "benefit" from their advertising (hmmm... something to think about....). But in either case, make sure first, because they are somewhat common names. What is your decorating scheme/theme? Maybe the name could reflect that? Any "signature" item that could help play into the name? Think of how you might play off of the name for taglines too - or "visuals" in your ads. |
