New Salon.....Need Interior Design Ideas !!

Need interior design ideas for my Tanning Salons. Any ideas/advise is appreciated. (Also, if I hire a Interior Desinger...then what is reasonable amount to pay him/her !!)

Hire a designer and pay thru the nose. What do you wnat? Tropical? Forget it, it's been done a thousand times!!!!!! Go for upscale hotel looks, or perhaps night club appeal. Depends on your expected clientele. Bamboo and thatch rooves have been done to death!!!!!!!!

Go with a Las Vegas theme---poker is hot right now and Vegas is the most exciting city in the US.

We did upscale/classy, because I have lived in this town for over 10 years and know what people like....Tropical is nice but done a lot.. if you want to stand out, be original.

Go with a classy look.. It is so in right now.. Everyone wants to be a millionare or at least feel like they have the same luxeries that millionares do. Even if it is only for 20 minutes max... Cant ever go wrong with being upscale... You will never be known as anythign else..

I'm with everyone else. Don't do tropical. I have some pics of my salon posted in my gallery. We get tons of compliments and I have gotten a few interior design jobs from people seeing my shop. Good Luck!!

How about a toilet museum/tanning salon? You can showcase all the toilet designs from around the world.

Just don't start with Engfant's. His is from the 1800's. It's called "Outhouse without paper".
